Searching for galactic bars through cosmic time [image] Open Access

Galaxies are one of the most beautiful things to observe in our Universe, but our questions about how they form and settle and through what mechanisms this happens are still unanswered. One of these mechanisms is stellar bar structures. With the new James Webb telescope, we can study them at much larger distances. We have found that bar features in galaxies can form in the very early Universe.
