On-sky performance of a scalable, wide-field optical survey node for persistent real-time space situational awareness above low Earth orbit [dataset] Open Access

This archive contains processed data products from a compact, modular, fixed-field optical space situational awareness survey node used to persistently monitor resident space objects in MEO and GEO. Each nightly archive contains per-object CSV catalogues for identified NORAD-associated objects and unidentified extracted tracks, together with the TLE set used for prediction and association. The catalogues include astrometric and photometric measurements, uncertainties, identifiers, confidence metrics, and relevant processing metadata. These files are intended to support reuse and interpretation of the accompanying research outputs, rather than to provide the complete raw image archive.

Research methods
Observations were collected using a fixed wide-field optical system pointed at the visible GEO belt. Calibration frames were used for astrometric and photometric calibration, including plate solving and reference-star matching. Science frames were processed using source extraction, star masking, TLE-based NORAD-ID association, geometric recovery of unassociated tracks, and final confidence assignment. The resulting outputs are cleaned per-object catalogues of identified and unidentified RSOs.
