Global Class Rasters of Rivers and Lakes
This is a global classification dataset chiefly aimed at lake and river seasonal inventory. The dataset has class rasters for the non-polar world for the months of April, July and October 2021. The zip file for a given month has the full set of class rasters for most of the world with the exclusion of Antarctica and most islands in the arctic. These class rasters are organised by UTM Grid Zone Designation. For each 6x8 degree grid zone and for each month, there is a single class raster with a resolution of 10 meters and based on Sentinel-2 imagery. The total size of the datset is ~6.7 terapixels. We also offer the key Python scripts that enabled the production of this data in the file Python_Scripts.zip
