This OpendData folder contains the data, simulation and visualisation codes that have been used in the scientific research reported in the joint file ScientificPaper.pdf.

It contains 4 folders:

- InitialTesselations folder containing some initial tesselations of a region of the complex plane that have been used to generate the results of ScientificPaper.pdf. They have been generated by using the open access software Surface Evolver (proper citation in the report).

- EssentialCodes folder contains the Mathematica code that has been used for various tasks during the research including generation of the P-Surface, as described in ScientificPaper.pdf, calculation of the (gaussian) curvature and area fields that are then exported to files named Gcurvature1.txt and Areas1.txt. They are then to be used as input in the Monte Carlo simulation code MC_swap.c in the following way: once compiled to MC_swap.exe type 'MC_swap.exe Gcurvature1.txt Areas1.txt' to run the code. Note that the '1' here refers to the fact that the exported data in that case was only using 1 single fundamental patch of the surface.

- PhaseDiagramData folder contains the data for the curvature and line tension energies (2nd and third columns) of the file 'Energy_vs_Area_lambda_10.000.txt' as a function of the area covered by the lipids of species 1 (first column of the aforementioned file). It also contains the location of the bridges that form between patches in the bridges*.txt files. Finally, the file PhaseBoundaryData.txt contains the data to plot the phase diagram in the summation approximation described in ScientificPaper.pdf. The Gnuplot code used to generate Fig. 2a of ScientificPaper.pdf is PlotPhaseDiagram.

- FacettingData folder contains data generated by the .c code MC_swap (one of its function at least) that was used to study the facetting of the domains as the line tension was increased. The data files provided are the spin field values (0 or 1), following the modelling used in ScientificPaper, to be read by a particular Mathematica cell in the 'Generate_P_Surface.nb' notebook.
