DATA & FILE OVERVIEW

This repository is made up of sub folders relating to the data. There are three sub folders at this level. They are:
parameters for model
absorption data
sideband data

Each of these subfolders contains a readme which details the data files in each folder and any other sub folders. As well as the sub folders, there is a master file at this level. The file is called:
one-photon absorption and sidebands microwave theory v17.nb
It is a Mathematica notebook created in Mathematica 11.

The subfolders and the content of this file are detailed below:

parameters for model
This folder contains all of the processed parameters for the susceptiblity model used in this work (equation 2 in main text). The model is used from figure 2 onwards.
The readme in this folder details what the files are and how they feed in to the model.

absorption data
This file contains the raw absorption data at different microwave powers. This data is used in figure 2.
The readme in this folder details how this data is structured and how fitting this data leads to the parameters in the "parameters for model" folder.

sideband data
this folder contains the processed and un processed sideabnd data form the experiment. The relevant readmes explain the data dtructure and the processing.
This data is used for the Kerr coefficient points in figure 3.

one-photon absorption and sidebands microwave theory v17.nb
This is the master file for the data set. It contrusct the susceptiblity model (using the paramters from "parameters for model") and then compares it to data from "absorption data" and "sideband data".
All plots from figure 2 onwards were made using this file.
The plot in figure 1 was made using sideband data/raw data/sideband rollover analysis v2.nb

METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION

1. Description of methods used for collection/generation of data:
Data was recorded using custom wirtten LabVIEW scripts. details of the experimetnal procedures are available in the corresponding paper.

2. Methods for processing the data:
Methods for processing the data available in the readmes for each file, the comments in the analysis code and the paper.

3. Instrument- or software-specific information needed to interpret the data:
Data is saved in csv format. Analysis was performed in Mathematica 11.

DATA-SPECIFIC INFORMATION:
Data specific information is contained in the readmes of the sub folders.
