Description of the folder Figure1b:

Figure 1b: Atomic optical fluorescence imaged with a consumer digital camera.

The figure is created using a linear interpretation of the CCD signal and processed through Matlab.

The background was subtracted from the signal, and a millimeter scale "ScaleReference.png" was used for the scalebar.

The resulting image "ProcessedImage.tif" is shown in the paper.
